The Theta Phi Alpha Foundation supports the educational and philanthropic aims of Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity. Originally founded in 1959 with the intent of providing “Scholarships for Sisters,” the Foundation has broadened its scope to include supporting the Fraternity’s educational and charitable goals.
Today, Theta Phis continue to support local hunger and homelessness units through Foundation Grants, monetary donations and community service. The women of Theta Phi Alpha hold our philanthropy very close to our hearts.
When joining our sisterhood it's more than just a social experience, as a member of Theta Phi Alpha we strive to care for and make sure that those who are less fortunate than us get the care they need. Theta Phi works to rid the plight of homelessness and hunger. It’s a cause that knows no bounds; it affects every race, age, and community— including the communities where we live. That is why the ladies of Theta Phi Alpha wants to be a part of the solution. Through partnering with our national philanthropies & local organizations, we are able to make an impact on our communities.
This past November, we had a full week dedicated to hunger and homelessness. During this week, we raised money that was donated to the House that Built Theta Phi and Camp Friendship. With a starting goal of $1000, we finished the week with raising $2,225. The women of Theta Phi came together despite these uncertain times and found a way to make a difference in the hunger and homelessness community.
